I have found that epoxy is wonderful for protecting concrete including garage floors, patios, sidewalks etc. It really should not have come as a surprise to me as I know the qualities of epoxy. There are several brands to choose from: Rust Oleum, Valspar, Krylon, Behr, Quikrete...I won't make a recommendation as to which brand is best, but will strongly recommend preparing the surface properly.
I was able to repair this expensive fountain by removing debris and cleaning the crack(much the same way on a foundation wall) using a small grinder. Apply the epoxy, add surface details and allow to cure.
